ODD-01/02/03 vertical unwinders 150kg/400kg

A series of wire or tape unwinders, adapted to heavy loads (up to 400 kg) and industrial applications.

ODD-01   –   Unwinder designed to work with the UCD-01 wire cutting device.

ODD-02   –   Unwinder used for rewinding tape in SD8A gluing devices.

ODD-03   –   Unwinder working with the tape bending device.

    Each of these unwinders can also be used for other purposes related to unwinding tape, wire and similar materials.

    Each type of unwinder consists of the following main units:

  • base,
  • unwinder disc,
  • control box,
  • tensioning unit.

    The base of the unwinder is made of a frame made of welded square steel tubes. An electric motor is mounted at the bottom of the base, which drives the reducer via a gear with a toothed belt. The output shaft of the reducer rotates the unwinder disc with the material placed on it via a clutch with an elastic insert.

    The control box can be placed on any side of the unwinder. The front part of the box is a panel with a NETWORK switch and a STOP button. The frequency converter operator panel, which controls the operation of the motor, is accessible from the front of the control box.

    The unwinder disc is used to support the unwinded material. With different internal diameters of wire or tape coils, the effect of centring the coil relative to the disc axis can be achieved by radially moving each of the pins protruding above the disc surface. The task of the tensioning unit is to turn on and off the disc rotation depending on the operation of the device taking the material from the unwinder.

    The unwinder can be placed on fixed feet with shock absorbers or on running wheels (also rotating, also with brakes).

(*) It is possible to set the disc speeds in a wider range – inverter frequencies from 5 to 100 Hz – however, torque loss must then be taken into account.
