The UDO-03 metallisation device is used for automatic winding of silver-plated wire on coil cores in order to increase the mechanical strength of the coil lead mounting points and to improve the tinning quality.

Description
Thanks to the use of replaceable core clamp units, the UDO-03 can wrap a wide range of products.
For wrapping coils with silver-plated wire, a manipulator was used, consisting of a set of two linear guides driven by a servo motor and a lever system driven by an actuator. The design of the manipulator allows for any (programmable) positioning of the winding tube in two axes X and Y in the range of 0 to 50 mm and in the Z axis in the range of 0 to 2 mm.
The UDO-03 metallization machine operates in an automatic cycle. The operator’s operation is reduced to replacing pallets with chokes.
