CNW - Efficient winding machines
CNW is the most efficient and versatile series of automatic winding machines designed for the production of induction coils on coil formers or ferrite cores. At NEOTECH, we manufacture models that vary in the number and spacing of winding spindles. Discover their capabilities!
The CNW series of automatic winding machines are multi-spindle machines, available in versions with 4 to 10 spindles. High-performance 12-, 14-, and even 16-spindle designs are also available.
The machine is equipped with a 3-axis XYZ manipulator that guides the wires. A rotating beam with wire guides is mounted on the manipulator. This mechanism allows the guides to rotate 90°, enabling the wrapping of leads in two planes.
Additionally, the winder is equipped with a wire clamp assembly and optional cutting scissors. Custom-designed interchangeable holders are used to secure the coil formers or cores. The spindles are driven by a gear system that allows for two gear ratios. The device is equipped with a PC controller (in the industrial version) running the Windows XP Embedded operating system. The winder is programmable, with the ability to save settings for each product.
CNW machines are used to wind products on spools, cores, bodies, or handles. In the basic version, the CNW machine operates in semi-automatic mode (winding is fully automatic, but product replacement is done manually).
However, it is possible, and even advisable, to use additional equipment for automatic loading, replacement, and unloading of wound components.
Automated stations are also available:
- Visual inspection of the winding and product,
- Tin plating or crimping of leads,
- Geometric and/or electrical measurements,
- Tape wrapping, insulating sleeve installation, adhesive or varnish dispensing and curing,
- Product marking with a laser or jet printer,
- Packing wound products into dedicated packaging (usually pallets or T&R packaging, blister tape).
The winder's system software enables:
- The ability to change programs by the customer.
- The ability to create new programs.
- User programs are password-protected. Changes can only be made by authorized personnel.
- The ability to modify the program while it is running.
- Step-by-step operation (executing subsequent program lines).
- The ability to learn a sequence of movements.
