FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

This isn't your typical, boring FAQ. You'll find answers to the most frequently asked questions (and the questions no one asks but should). Learn how NEOTECH builds inductive components, scales production, and automates processes— all explained by engineers, not robots!

Wait... so who are you anyway?

NEOTECH is a manufacturer of inductive components and machines.

We automate production, support technological development, and provide turnkey solutions for industry. We consider ourselves a reliable technology partner for many industries.

We have been operating in the electronics and machinery industries for over 26 years.

We began in the 1990s and have since then gained experience in mass production, automation, and demanding industrial projects. During this time, we have manufactured over 320 industrial machines and over 250 million inductive components. In short: we know what we're doing.

You can learn more about our history HERE.

We undertake prototype, production, development, and implementation projects – from prototype inductive components or dedicated machines to multi-million-piece component series and complete production lines and automated machines.

We embrace challenges and unconventional solutions.

Oof, where do we even begin?

We have our own inductors production facility with modern production lines, our own machinery (dedicated machines – including our own production!)

High levels of automation and robotics in our own production, experienced production workers who can detect the slightest discrepancy, excellent quality control, and an ambitious team of engineers, automation specialists, programmers, and designers who can turn an idea into a working machine.

Yes! We can supply both finished components and complete devices. We also provide services for other companies. You can find out more about our services HERE.

We also manufacture equipment, machinery, devices, and automated production lines for other companies. We modernize and retrofit your machinery, design, build, program, and customize it. You can find out more about our machinery services HERE.

The intricacies of technology: design and production of inductive components

That's exactly what we're here for 😎

We're here to help! We'll check its technological feasibility, suggest design optimizations, and adapt the solution so it's suitable for stable mass production, not just a prototype.

If a given product is unmanufacturable, we'll suggest design changes.

You can find our most frequently manufactured products HERE.

We produce a wide range of inductive components, including coils, chokes, transformers, and components wound on ferrite, powder, and toroidal cores.

Our products include both standard solutions and specialized industrial applications.

Yes—we manufacture components based on the customer's design and documentation, in accordance with your specifications!

We offer both exact replications of provided specifications and versions optimized for production technology.

We are flexible. Our advanced machinery offers full production capabilities:

  • one-off and prototype production,
  • short and medium-sized series,
  • high-volume production in the hundreds of thousands and millions of pieces.

We match technology to scale—not the other way around 💡

No.

We don't design components "from scratch," but we actively support our clients through consultations.

We help verify assumptions, suggest technological changes, and identify solutions that can realistically be mass-produced.

We can do even more – you can find our full range of services HERE.

We manufacture, measure, and support a wide range of parameters, but primarily on an "electronic" scale, not a "power" scale. This includes:

  • Inductance: from fractions of a µH to full mH,
  • Operating currents: from µA to single amps,
  • Operating frequencies: from low frequencies in the kHz range to the RFID/NFC range of 13.56 MHz.

We analyze each case individually—there is no single "template."

Yes. We help select the core, magnetic material, wire diameter and type, and manufacturing technology, taking into account electrical parameters, operating conditions, and planned production scale. 💡

Technologies, materials and so and so...

We use ferrite, powder, and steel cores, as well as plastic coil formers and 3D prints. We also offer coreless coils!

We are also happy to work with cores provided by the customer.

Wire selection (diameter and material) depends on the application—we use Cu, enameled, Litz, and specialty copper wires. This ensures that electrical parameters and production technology are aligned 💡

Our components are primarily used in industrial electronics, automation, and specialty applications.

We do not implement projects for the energy sector, but we do support high-frequency applications—including through the use of silver-plated wires.

We implement a wide range of automotive projects, depending on technical and quality requirements.

The production process is tailored to the product and scale—from prototypes to series production. We measure electrical parameters according to customer requirements.

Full traceability of products and production batches is standard at NEOTECH.

We employ internal quality control procedures, measuring inductance (L), resistance (R), and the quality factor (Q) of inductors, among other things.

We also conduct geometric measurements of components using calipers, measuring microscopes, and a KEYENCE vision measurement system. Product quality control is performed in multiple stages by experienced employees, including using magnifying glasses and microscopes.

We always tailor the scope of testing to the project, and measurement reports can be provided to the client as part of quality documentation.

We typically adapt components for automated assembly, for example, through T&R packaging, although this depends on the product.

We also manufacture modules and assemblies and deliver components in industrial packaging: tapes, trays, and boxes—production likes order 💡

We're the fastest on the market!

The process of preparing quotes for typical products is very efficient: initial contact usually takes one day, the quote is within a week, and prototype and series production takes several weeks!

Production time strongly depends on the availability of materials (if the client provides the materials, the turnaround time is significantly faster!) and machine utilization.

Custom products typically take longer, especially if dedicated production equipment needs to be designed and manufactured.

We are very keen to pursue long-term, repeat collaborations. We love projects that are recurring.
